Release status
LunarTrace 0.2.0 is published to PyPI (pip install lunartrace). The workbench is live at
lunartrace.org and this manual at lunartrace.org/docs. This is a status page, not a release
announcement.

Section titled “Current standing”| Item | Status |
|---|---|
| Package version | 0.2.0, as declared in pyproject.toml and published to PyPI |
| Distribution | PyPI (pip install lunartrace), or a wheel built from the repository (uv build --wheel), with science, workbench and lab extras. The wheel carries the archived Vikram snapshot |

| PyPI publication of this generation | Published as 0.2.0 |
| Older PyPI releases of the name | 0.1.0 and 0.1.1 are a different, incompatible codebase; 0.2.0 is a breaking release (see the changelog) |
| Licence | BSD-3-Clause, the same as the published 0.1.x package |
| Authorship and software citation | Krit Promsanuwong (Chulalongkorn University); see CITATION.cff |
| DOI | Not established; no DOI asserted |
| Scientific admission | NOT_ADMITTED, independent of packaging or publication |
Install gives the exercised pip, local-wheel and source-install paths.
pip install lunartrace installs the code documented here. Source-data
and derived-data redistribution rights remain UNVERIFIED; publication of the package does
not change that.
Release records
Section titled “Release records”The root CHANGELOG.md and RELEASING.md are the package release log and runbook.
This documentation lane neither edits them nor claims a publication receipt. The
documentation changelog records development history and is
not a substitute for either root file.
Operator gates
Section titled “Operator gates”Still open: deploy the documentation site and its DNS. Publication of the package does not deploy the site, and a passing docs build or a live documentation site does not settle any scientific question. A release does not promote scientific standing.
See Residuals and Standing for the remaining proof and authority boundaries.
